Harrisburg – Senator Bob Mensch (R-24) and Representative Justin Simmons (R-131) will be hosting a joint paper shredding event on Saturday, October 22, from 9am to 11am. The free service will take place at the Red Hill Fire Company’s parking lot located at 71 East Fourth Street in Red Hill.
Residents are advised to bring documents that contain sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, medical data or bank account numbers, to be shredded, at no cost to them. The limit is six bags or boxes of paperwork per vehicle.
Paper from businesses or commercial entities will not be accepted. The service will be provided by Richter Mobile Shredding of Souderton. Constituents can contact Representative Simmons’ Red Hill office at (215) 679-3152, or Senator Mensch’s Red Hill office at (215) 541-2388 with questions.
Senator Mensch also reminds constituents who are veterans to sign up for his annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on November 12, 2016. Veterans can bring up to one guest. Registration is required to attend this event.
