Senate Adopts Senator Mensch’s Resolution Recognizing the 242nd Anniversary of the Founding of the United States Army

Harrisburg –The Senate of Pennsylvania adopted a resolution introduced by Senator Bob Mensch (R-24) that recognized the 242nd Anniversary of the founding of the United State Army.

On June 14th 1775, the United States Congress voted to adopt the Boston troops, formed a committee to create rules for the government of the Army, and provided funding for its support.

“242 years later, the United States Army still proudly defends this nation, and this resolution will urge all Pennsylvanians to remember the sacrifices of the brave men and women who have served,” said Mensch.
