October 26, 2009 - Senator Bob Mensch (third from left) participated in a ceremony designating a portion of Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township as the Sergeant Ashly L. Moyer Memorial Road. Moyer, a Lehigh County resident and 2003 graduate of Emmaus High School, was killed by a roadside bomb while on a routine patrol driving an armored Humvee in central Baghdad.
