Senator Mensch is joined by interns Rachel Schapperle and Tom Richards on the Senate floor in Harrisburg. Tom and Rachel are interns in Senator Mensch’s Montgomery County office and are 2009 graduates of North Penn High School. Rachel is currently enrolled at Penn State University’s main campus where she double-majors in Political Science and Energy, Business and Finance. Tom is a student in the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University, with a dual degree in History and Political Science. He currently serves as the Administrative Vice President of the Penn State Mock Trial Association, is a Teaching Assistant for a leadership course offered by the honors college and a member of the Presidential Leadership Academy.
