The Pennsylvania State Police has recently postponed their 134th Cadet class until January 9, 2012.  Positions include Troopers, Liquor Enforcement Officers, Police Communications Operators, Forensic Specialists, and many other civilian jobs.  Additional information can be found at www.psp.state.pa.us or by calling the Toll Free Number: 1-877-PACADET.

The Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission is the job clearinghouse for the Commonwealth.  Pennsylvania agencies have an immediate need for applicants in the following fields:  Administration, Accounting, Clerical, Information Technology, Nursing Education, Engineering, Environmental, Law Enforcement, Medicine and Health Services, Social and Employment Services and Mechanical Trades.

Prospective applicants must fill out an online application and schedule a time for the Civil Service exam.  More information can be found at:  www.scsc.state.pa.us.

Pennsylvania CareerLink can help applicants create resumes and match their skills, requirements and backgrounds with job openings.  Employers and staffing agencies use CareerLink to find qualified workers in their local area to fill open positions.  High standards of privacy are maintained, and confidential data such as Social Security Numbers are encrypted and used only where necessary to meet federal requirements.  More information can be found at:  www.cwds.state.pa.us.
