Pottstown High School Blood Drive

Please join me in celebrating the efforts of the students of Pottstown High School community support with a recent blood drive.

PHS students and staff donated 29 units of blood, bringing their total for the school year to 110 units, all of which goes directly to Pottstown Hospital. This was an excellent effort that will help the hospital deal with a regional blood shortage.

Even more impressive is that this successful drive occurred during a busy time in the school year, with students and staff with just having Keystones exams, finals exams, change of semester and more.

Students and staff are now planning for their spring blood drive. The entire community should wish them well with their event and offer our thanks for stepping up and providing this critical service.
