Senator Mensch Attends Pennsburg Borough Veterans’ Day Ceremony

HARRISBURG – Yesterday, State Senator Bob Mensch (R-24) attended the Pennsburg Borough Veterans’ Day Ceremony.

Pennsburg Borough hosted a Veterans’ Day Ceremony to honor all veterans. Featured guests included Charles Shagg, Diane Stevens, Clyde Hoch, and Senator Bob Mensch. Each of the individuals shared words and expressed gratitude to all of those who are currently serving and those who have served, which was followed by a 21-Gun Salute and Taps by the Honor Guard. A group of volunteers spruced up the Veterans’ Memorial, with Landis Pallet donating mulch and Diane Miller donating a wreath.

“Millions of men and women have fought for freedom in the course of our country’s history. They come from all types of backgrounds, and each of them selflessly risk their lives for others,” Mensch said. “We owe our freedom and way of living to all of our veterans. Everything that we hold close to us – our families, our friends, and our freedoms, and the opportunity to even have events such as this, was fought for by these brave men and women.”
